Which time zone does the countdown use?
The date and time you enter are in your own time zone. A shared link stores the exact moment, so someone in another time zone counts down to the same instant, shown in their local time.
How do I share my countdown?
Press "Copy link" and send it. The event name and date are stored in the link itself, after the # sign. That part of an address is never sent to a server, so TickPickr doesn’t see or store your countdowns.
What happens when the date is reached?
The countdown switches to counting up and shows how long ago the moment was. That makes it handy for anniversaries and streaks, too.
How are days counted?
Days are full 24-hour periods between now and the target. Around a daylight saving time change, the hours can therefore differ by one from what a calendar suggests.
