Frequently asked questions
How long is a half in football?
Each half lasts 45 minutes, plus stoppage time added by the referee. A full match is two halves with a half-time break of up to 15 minutes.
Will my phone’s screen stay on?
In browsers that support it, TickPickr keeps the screen on while the timer runs. If it turns off anyway, for example because of battery saver, the phone may pause the page, so keep it plugged in for long timers.
Will the alarm sound if I switch to another tab?
Yes. The timer keeps running in the background and the alarm plays when time is up, as long as the tab stays open and your device isn’t muted. The time left is also shown in the tab’s title.
Why is there no sound?
Check that "Alarm sound" is on, that your device isn’t muted, and on iPhone that the silent switch is off. Browsers only allow sound after you have clicked something on the page, so start the timer with a click or a key press.
